About
I am a PhD Student in Biostatistics at the University of Iowa.
My undergraduate major was in Financial Engineering (belongs to Economics), and I previously worked as a Quantitative Researcher, focusing on high-frequency trading using tools like stochastic analysis or reinforcement learning.
My current research interests include Clinical Trials (dose selection and optimization, seamless phase designs, and patient-focused drug development), Bayesian Methods (Bayesian adaptive designs and Bayesian borrowing), and Causal Inference (indirect comparisons, principal stratification, covariate adjustment, and surrogate endpoint validation). Some of these topics are related to my previous/current work or will be explored in my dissertation research. I have been fortunate to receive guidance from Drs. Patrick Breheny, Gideon Zamba, Emily Roberts and David Zahrieh.
